An excellent Professor went home to be with the Lord on December 10th. Dr. Gary McGee was one of my professors at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary when I was a student.
In fact, on this blog, one of the books I am presently reading was written by Dr. McGee. The Pentecostal Dictionary is a must have for any Pentecostal seminary student. This book is impressive, detailed, and a wealth of Knowledge.
I always enjoyed class with Dr. McGee because he was patient, kind and really wanted his students "to get it."
I must admit I was very intimidated by him as a student. I was taking a courses from him and the textbooks were written by him as well.
I praise the Lord for his influence in my life.
May God show comfort to Dr. McGee's family and the AGTS family as well.

Noticed you teach tithing. I'm doing a study myself. I'm trying to find the answer to 2 questions. 1. When did the definition of tithe change? 2. Who changed it?

Kevin,
I took some time off over the holiday so I did not see your comment until tonight.
Tithe means "tenth." This definition has not changed.
